"Mother Earth" has something to say

"I am the Earth, and I have been spinning non-stop for over 4.5 billion years.

You have been accustomed to my richness and generosity since the day you were born, but gradually ignored my weakness.

After a series of abnormal phenomena such as greenhouse gases accumulation, global warming, glaciers melting, climate changing, and biodiversity loss, you began to blame me for being more and more tyrannical. But very few people realized that I am also a victim.

In fact, many of you don't realize that forests, grasslands, wetlands, oceans, soils, permafrost, karst, etc., are absorbers and reservoirs of carbon dioxide. To protect them is to protect yourself.

I very much look forward to your "Carbon neutrality and Emission peak" goals can be realized sooner than anyone else.

Fortunately, I have seen your efforts. From countries, nations and regions, from social groups  then to individuals, more and more of you have begun to join the ranks of energy saving and emission reduction.

Trust me, as long as you take good care of me, I will give you and your next generations a more comfortable planet.

Until then, you will have bluer sky, clearer water, and sweeter air.
